“Let
no corrupting talk come out of your mouths,
but
only such as is good for building up, as fits the occasion,
that
it may give grace to those who hear.”
Ephesians 4:29

What talk came out of your mouth today?
Was it negative? Critical? Mean?
Or uplifting? Encouraging? Loving?
Ask God to stop you when you are about
to say something you shouldn’t. Speaking harshly after the milk has been
spilled, the mistake made, or task forgotten, will not change the circumstances
or teach a lesson. Speaking with grace, however, will.
What will you say today that uplift or encourage someone? What can you say to show love?
